Pathshala
JSSD organizes Jain Pathshala under JAINA umbrella. It provides valuable teachings based on Jain principles. Children's age 5 to 15 attend classes at different levels.
Pathshala Levels
Pathshala is held on 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month when session is in progress. Typically Pathshala is in session from September to May.

In Pathshala, students learn about Jain philosophy, multi-cultural aspect, social network, integrating peace and compassion in daily life and preserving our heritage. We are following JAINA books for all the levels as our guideline. We teach way of living life through poetry/songs, Art and craft work, drawing and poster board, debates and discussion, power point presentations, teaching world religion

- Diwali cultural mela (celebration of new year)
- Fancy Dress competition (representing different cultural)
- Collection for food cans during Christmas
- Healthy cooking class
- Fund raising for spiritual and social reasons.
- Every year we have plays, drama and dances performed by pathshala students reflecting non-violence,peace,Compassion,showing respect for all religion and race.
- Talk on great leaders like Martin Luther king and Gandhi
- Marathon walk for disable kids.
- Compassion,showing respect for all religion and race.
- Donating for natural calamities like tsunami.
- Students collect money by organizing cultural programs like Indian classical dance.
