JSSD Updates (COVID-19 and More)

Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe during these extremely unusual times. We wanted to share with the Sangh updates on our JSSD center and reminder for membership / OpEx and other donations.
JSSD Center Update:
Currently We are opening our JSSD Center for Puja and Darshan on every Sunday from 9 AM to 12:00 PM with fix time slot per family to maintain social distancing. You need to reserve time slot prior to JSSD Center visit. Please contact ec@jssd.org for more details.
CY 2021 JSSD Membership :
Go to your bank website or use your smartphone; Go to menu, Click transfer use Zelle (You do not need to have Zelle app) ; Choose to transfer funds via email address.

We also strongly urge anyone who has symptoms of severe to moderate cold, cough, etc., combined with fever to refrain from visiting the Jain Center until the symptoms are resolved. These cautions will ensure the spread of the germs is prevented within our Jain Center community members.

CY 2021 OpEX Pledges:
- Operational Expense (OpEx) fund supports the upkeep and maintenance of our aging facilities.
- We request you to pledge and donate $1200 per year ($100 per month) towards OpEx fund.
- We have received only 15% of OpEx support compared to last year so we urge you to send your support as soon as possible.

The Jain Society of San Diego (JSSD) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization to pursue a goal of practicing, promoting and preserving the Jain religion. The society has been operating in San Diego for over 30 years. In 2011, JSSD purchased a property spread over 2.2 acres of land and over 10,000 Sq. Ft. of buildings located in Vista, CA.
Jain Center has now become our religious, spiritual, and community hub. The Center hosts many Religious Events, Swadhyayas, Satsangs, Bhakti Bhavnas, Pujans, Pathshala, Meditation Camps, Social, and Cultural events. Now, JSSD is embarking on a very exciting project of constructing 3700+ Sq. Ft. of Religious Complex containing a Shikharbandhi Jinalaya and Aradhna Hall on current property. Please donate generously to realize our dream of New Religious Complex.
