Who Can Participate?
We encourage all levels of Pathshala students to participate. Last time it was just the kids but this year adults class can participate too. It will really make a big impact on our little kids and be more fun..so please do your best to be a part of it.
What to Do?
Each participant will perform a small walk to the stage and show their costume to the audience and judges. They will be given about 1 minute to explain their costume/character and any interesting detail they would like to share. It can be in the form of a prayer, poem or even a few dialogues related to the artifact/outfit/personality you're trying to impersonate.
Scoring
There will be three judges who will score each participant’s costume based on the following criteria's:
1) Overall appearance = 50 Points
2) Presentation = 50 Points
3) Creativity = 50 Points
Total = 150 Points
A Few Ideas to Jump Start your Thought Process Here are some ideas to help you get started, however, we know that our highly artistic students will find more creative ways to represent a “Jain Character” of their choice:

There will be exciting prizes for the students who acclaim the 1st prize from every level (including Adult class). Every participant will get a treat even though they are not in the top three spot. So it will be a win-win event for all.
Note for the Pathshala Day
In case if you miss registering online, you can register participant’s names when you arrive at the Pathshala so that their names can be added to the scoring sheet, this will also help us in keeping the event organized. We will also be requesting some help from the volunteers so as always, please bring your “serve all” attitude and love for Pathshala to make this event a success. We look forward to seeing you all.
