Summary Date: 3/23/2013 Time: 6.30AM to 8:00PM Itinerary: Visit LA Jain Temple, California Science Center (Discovery Shuttle) and Swaminarayan Temple (Chino Hills) Price: (all inclusive of meals, transportation in luxury coach and entrance fees) Adults: $37 Kids 12 and Under: $27 (Lap Kids are free of charge, however they must be registered. Bus Yatra Details We will gather at Shree Mandir (Mira Mesa) and start the journey via JSSD Center (Vista) onwards to LA Jain Temple (Buena Park). After spending few hours of Puja & Prayers as well as admiring the beautiful architecture of the Jain Temple, we will proceed to California Science Center located in Downtown Los Angeles. This is the home to Shuttle Endeavour also known as “Jewel of the Shuttle Fleet”. We will see the shuttle Endeavour itself located in Samuel Oschin pavilion as well as companion images and artifacts related to the Shuttle Program. Time-permitting, we will also check out the “Mission 26 - Big Endeavour” photo exhibit showing beautiful imagery of the shuttle on its final journey. From there, we will travel to Chino Hills to visit the latest BAPS Swaminarayan Temple. Located on a 20-acre campus, the mandir and cultural center is home to educational and religious facilities. Expansive gardens and lawns – complete with fountains and ponds – surround nearly a dozen buildings. The Mandir was inaugurated with a 4 day Pratishtha celebration in December 2012. From there, we will return to home base of Shree Mandir via JSSD center in Vista.
